 'Goldbergs’ star George Segal dies at 87



Actor George Segal has died at the age of 87.

Sonia Segal, his better half, affirmed the news in a proclamation: "The family is crushed to declare that toward the beginning of today George Segal died because of difficulties from sidestep a medical procedure."

Segal showed up in various TV arrangement, and was right now featuring in ABC's "The Goldbergs" as Albert "Pops" Solomon. 

"We lost a legend," the show's maker, Adam F. Golberg, said in a tweet. "It was a genuine honor being a little piece of George Segal's stunning inheritance." 

The Long Island, New York local was likewise known for his jobs in "A Bit of Class," "Simply Shoot Me" and "Look Who's Talking," among others. 

Segal got an Oscar selection for the 1966 dramatization "Who's Apprehensive about Virginia Woolf."
